For aromatherapy inhale a few drops of Ginger essential oil from a tissue, mix with a carrier oil and apply to temples and stomach before and during travel or nausea related conditions, or, diffuse in an oil warmer.
This fresh Ginger essential oil may also be useful for post-chemotherapy nausea by diffusing a few drops for inhalation in an oil diffuser or mixed with odorless fractionated coconut oil carrier oil for applying to temples and stomach area. A new study presented during the 2009 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) shows that ginger is useful for treating chemotherapy associated nausea.

Dilute 2 drops ginger essential oil with one tablespoon castor oil as a compress or as a massage oil to support the active parts of your body.

For easy and comfortable breathing, use 4 drops of ginger with a few drops of cardamom essential oil plus two drops of thyme essential oil in steam therapy.
